An American Idol Record Was Broken!

American Idol just posted on Facebook:

You did it!  A record-breaking 132.3 million votes were cast following last night’s American Idol performance show – the highest number of votes in the show’s history and a new World Record!  Tune in at 8/7c tonight to see who received the most votes.

I said this was going to be a close race last night, and although I’m impressed at 132.3 million votes, I still believe the voting has to change.
