Neil Diamond | What Will Idol Contestants Sing?

Neil Diamond will be the mentor next Tuesday on American Idol, and the biggest question on everyone’s mind is, what will the Idol contestants sing?
Some say the Idol contestants have it easy because Neil Diamond has a huge song list to choose from, while others are saying that is the reason it is going to be extremely difficult for the Idol contestants to choose the perfect song.
So far I have to agree with other speculations on possible song choices. A couple of the Idol contestants are so good, they could just about sing any Neil Diamond song, while others no matter what they sing are still going to be boring.
David Cook could do an awesome interpretation of Holly Holy. Others have him singing Love on the Rocks or Solitary Man.
Jason Castro has it made this week, but agree that whatever song he chooses, it will probably be boring. The best Neil Diamond song choice consensus so far for him is Song Sung Blue.
Brooke White will forget the words anyway, but a good one for her could possibly be The Story of My Life or You Don’t Bring Me Flowers.
Syesha Mercado could belt out Brother Love’s Traveling Salvation Show or Soolaimon with ease!
David Archuleta will probably have a hard time this week so no one is really committing to this song choice. I think maybe September Morning or Be?
