Did American Idol Producers Go Too Far Airing Jermaine Jone's Disqualification?

Some say that the American Idol producers went too far when they aired Jermaine Jone's disqualification.

I feel Jermaine got what he deserved.  American Idol foots the bill for the American Idol wannabes, so you have to play by their rules.

And who would want an Idol with open warrants?

Anyway, I feel the airing of Jermaine's disqualification was not overstepping the line.
