American Idol has been in the news quite a bit lately, with stories like:

American Idol judge Simon Cowell promised big changes for season 8, and he wasn’t lying. Kara DioGuardi will be joining the judges table as the 4th American Idol judge. Simon Cowell is your “nasty” tell it like it is judge. Randy Jackson is the laid back, tell it like it is but with more tact judge. Paula Abdul loves everyone so no one goes away sad. What could a 4th judge possibly bring to the table? If she tries to be nasty like Simon, she’ll never live up to his shoes. If she’s another Randy or Paula; who cares? I’m all for change, but if Simon wants to focus more on the contestants like he said then why another judge? That will take time away from the American Idol contestants. What do you think?
