You remember American Idol contestant Charlie Askew, right?

Charlie was the quirky, wearing his heart on his sleeve Idol contestant.

He never made it to the top 10, but he was entertaining.

Charlie always said he was socially inept, but music really helped.

After his "Rocket Man" performance, Keith Urban said, it's like if Freddie Mercury had a love-child out of Woodstock.  LOL

Did I mention he was quirky?
