American Idol winner Phillip Phillips is scheduled for kidney surgery today.
He’s had around 8 surgeries during his American Idol run, but today is the “big one” in hopes to correct Phillip’s kidney problems.
He’ll need prayers for a speedy recovery in order to hit the American Idols Live Tour on July 6, 2012.
It is also reported that the American Idol winner will be joined on the tour by his girlfriend Hannah Blackwell.
Update: According to TMZ.com, Phillip Phillips will NOT have surgery today because he has a bad sinus infection and a high fever. Surgery postponed until next week.
